Two ways of dealing with tear gas grenades from comrades in Turkey: Either submerge them in water. Make sure you can close off the container cause the gas will still spread for a while. Or throw them in the fire so the gas burns off before it can spread.
Update, 4:30 p.m.: The ACLU, responding to BuzzFeed's Chris Geidner on Twitter, says that the officer involved in the incident described above has been removed from duty following a public ACLU complaint.
this is great and all but lets observe the fact that the moment a WHITE journalist is threatened, action is taken…while Michael Brown’s murderer still walks freely and the police officers threatening the lives of black people/hitting them with tear gas and rubber bullets are still on the clock
laughing at how CNN went into one of the looted businesses in Ferguson and spoke to the owner. the reporter started asking all these leading questions that were clearly setting up answers that expressed anger that their businesses were broken into.
The owner was like “actually I just want justice for Mike Brown im not worried about material things”

afterwards cnn got back to the conversation with the lawyer BUT THEY CHANGED THE TOPIC // I made a post with some more information from the lawyer // It’s important to look at that link. you’ll learn that mike brown WAS innocent and the police had nothing on him so they went to the shop, after mike was already dead and the investigation into his death had begun, and that was when they first saw the tapes and were able to say essentially “this guy looks sorta like Mike Brown we can just say he was responding to a robbery report”
The owners never filed a robbery report, either did any of the store’s workers
